Mr. Donovan is a character in The Walking Dead: Splatterpunk. He is the husband of Mrs. Donovan, and has two children, Rich and Darla. This character is first introduced in the chapter "Days Gone Bye".

Pre-Apocalypse

Almost nothing is known about Mr. Donovan's life before the apocalypse began. It is known that he lived in a small town in rural Georgia, and that he had a wife and two children. The Donovan family lived near the Grimes family in the same neighborhood. Mrs Donovan was Mr. Donovan's wives, and his son and daughter's names were Rich and Darla. His son, and possibly his daughter, were friends with Carl Grimes at the local school, and his wife was a math teacher at the same school. It is unknown what Mr. Donovan's occupation was, if he worked at all.

Post-Apocalypse

There is a mystery surrounding what happened to Mr. Donovan. There are many possible ways that he could have died, and they will be stated further in the article, but it is unknown what happened to him. When Rick comes out of his coma at the hospital, he discovers a large, makeshift morgue behind it, where hundreds of bodies have been wrapped in sheets and laid out in piles. He discovers the dead body of Mrs. Donovan, Mr. Donovan's wife. Rick continues to examine the bodies, and sees no signs of Mr. Donovan. It is presumed that Mrs. Donovan had been checked-into the hospital due to being bitten by a walker, and that she later died and reanimated, and was put down by the U.S. military, and then her body was added to morgue. Even later, when Tina decides to run away after Cindy's death, she ends up outside the Donovans' home, where the two zombified Donovan children are discovered and killed by Tina's sister, Bebe. Here, too, Rick sees no sign of Mr. Donovan among the dead. It is possible that Mr. Donovan is in fact dead, but as there has been no signs indicating that he is dead, his status is unknown. It will continue to be left unknown due to the fact that his fate is never to be revealed.
